Monday. yay. lol.. as far as mondays go, today wasn't too horrible. I went to the library for class this morning, and ended up getting a bunch of books for my research paper, which is a comparison of the Israelite exodus, the Nephi/Lehi exodus, and the pioneer exodus. i'm excited to actually sit down and start reading. umm.. i studied most of the day, taking breaks pretty much only to go to class. I had a quiz today in Biology, and i know i did terrible on it, but it wasn't through lack of studying. We had two different substitute teachers while our Professor was gone, and today was the first day he was back, and he tested us on the material we learned from the other two professors. And I know i'm not the only one that did bad, because it was a "group" quiz, where you can talk to people from the whole class.. and i checked my answers, and everyone else struggled just as bad. Good thing quizzes are only worth 5 points, and if the sees how bad they are, he might just throw them out. maybe.
FHE was fun tonight.. we played Capture the Flag. Oh.. we were in the middle of playing, and i see someone running across the field, and then i notice Kate chasing after him. the first thought to cross my mind was "when did one of our brothers switch sweatshirts? no one was wearing white.. oh wait". As i came to the realization that this was not, in fact, a member, of our group, i stared in slow motion as i saw kate come up to, and almost tackle, this person. He whirls around, and looks at her in surprise, and i hear "oh.. shnitzel! SORRY!", and a whole lot of laughing.. i was laughing so hard i couldn't pay attention to the game. Poor guy.. he was just out for a jog and ended up being attacked by a girl just trying to tag her opposing teammate.
After capture the flag, kate and i went downstairs to do laundry, and it turned into a three-hour expedition including iPod iDol, crutches, biting laundry detergent, pictures, and a whole lot more. It was fun, and i did manage to get some more studying in. i feel better about my jazz test tomorrow than i did about the last one.
Oh.. and i've made a decree for myself: No facebook between the hours of 8am and 5pm, and no non-school-related internet after midnight. I'm determined to see how long i can stick to this. It starts tomorrow, though, because i didn't decide until halfway through today. Good thing my blog is partially for English class :)
